Get Involved

Each year, we collect art and craft supplies to stock up the storage closets at Helen Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. One of the things that Ben loved to do and that helped to keep him from becoming completely withdrawn at the hospital was arts and crafts. So each December, Ben's birthday month, we collect and sort all of the supplies and then make the delivery to the hospital in early January.

In 2020, we collected over 80 totes full of brand new art supplies and the hospital staff was overwhelmed and grateful. This year we are hoping to increase our reach and collect even more art supplies to impact kids being treated at HDVCH. Craft kits that include all needed supplies and slime making supplies are particularly popular, but any supplies appropriate for kids ages 2-18 are appreciated and will be used!

There are three primary ways to get involved and contribute:

1. Make a tax deductible financial contribution to purchase supplies
2. Purchase and donate art and craft supplies
3. Hosting and filling one of Ben's Big Art Boxes
